Castlewellan cannabis factories: Three men charged

Three men have been charged with a total of 31 offences over the discovery of two cannabis factories in Castlewellan, County Down, on Tuesday.

Cannabis with an estimated value of £150,000 was found at properties on the Circular Road and Corrywood Park.

The men are due to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates court later.

The charges include cultivating cannabis, possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply.

A 22-year-old woman who was also arrested on Tuesday has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
