Drivers have been warned that the motorway SOS phones network across Northern Ireland will not be available for two days.

The phones will be out of use until 07:00 GMT on Thursday.

It is to allow essential maintenance to be carried out in the police urban contact management centre.

Police said they would have additional resources patrolling the motorway network, while Transport NI will be monitoring the roads on CCTV cameras.
