Armoy: Two arrested over armed robbery

Police have made two arrests over an armed robbery at a shop in Armoy, County Antrim.

Two robbers, believed to have been armed with a gun and a knife, entered a shop on Coolkeeran Road at about 19:00 GMT and demanded money.

They stole cash and cigarettes. No-one was injured in the robbery.

Later on Saturday evening, police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy. They were detained in north Belfast and are being questioned.
