Ballysillan Road, Belfast: Three masked men with guns rob shop
Three masked men with guns have robbed a shop on the Ballysillan Road in north Belfast.
Shortly after 20:00 GMT on Saturday, the men, carrying suspected firearms, went into the shop at the junction of Wallasey Avenue and threatened staff.
They escaped with cash and cigarettes. No-one was injured.
Two of the men were described as being aged in their late 20s and were wearing hooded tops. Police have appealed for information.
DUP councillor for the area, Lee Reynolds, urged people with information about the robbery to tell the police.
"My appeal would be to anybody within the community who has information about this to come forward and provide it to the police," he said.
"There will be obviously cheap cigarettes appearing somewhere, and people should be informing the police if this source appears."
