Tommy Crossan murder: Man arrested in Armagh released

A man arrested by police investigating the murder of a prominent dissident republican in west Belfast last year has been released unconditionally.

Tommy Crossan was shot dead at a fuel depot off the Springfield Road in April 2014.

The 43-year-old was once a senior Continuity IRA figure. Although there have been a number of arrests, no-one has been charged with his murder.

The 44-year-old man was arrested in Armagh on Wednesday morning.
