Road Guardian initiative launched in Northern Ireland
An initiative to encourage Northern Ireland drivers, particularly those under 25, to change their driving attitudes is being launched on Friday.
Road Guardian provides motorists with vehicle cameras designed to record and store real-time video images.
By monitoring their driving, Road Guardian provides motorists with advice and support on how to correct bad driving habits.
It was founded by ex-police advanced driving instructor, Sean Brown.
"The rate of road deaths, according to the PSNI in Northern Ireland, increased by 38% in 2014 compared to 2013, and this compares to the more modest increase of 3% across Great Britain," Mr Brown said.
"This is a shocking statistic and demonstrates the importance of stepping up the campaign to raise awareness of the issue, and help motorists improve their safety by making changes to the way they drive."
