A1 crash near Dromore: Man dies in road collision

A 55-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the A1 near Dromore, County Down.

It happened at about 07:15 GMT close to Halfway Road.

A woman was taken to hospital following the collision. Police said her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed in both directions for much of the day, but has since reopened.
