Teenage girl dies in fall at her north Belfast home

A 15-year-old girl has died after a fall at her north Belfast home.

The teenager had been a pupil at Dominican College in Fortwilliam.

In a statement, the school said it was devastated by the loss of the girl, as a result of a tragic accident.

It said she was a bright, talented girl who was very popular with pupils and staff.

It is understood she fell on Saturday night and died on Monday.

Pupils at her school were told of her death at a special assembly.
