A gym has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack at a GAA club in Moy, County Tyrone.

Firefighters put out the fire that started at about 23:00 BST on Sunday.

Extensive damage was caused to a new gym beside the Tír na nÓg clubhouse.

The clubhouse was badly damaged in a similar attack in September 2015.

Club chairman Francis McQuade said the latest attack on Sunday was "very disappointing and shocking really".

Mr McQuade said the club had support from both sides of the community.

"We have Protestant members, playing members within the club and there's no reason whatsoever for our club to be targeted that way".
