West Belfast attack: police Land Rover damaged

The windscreen of a police Land Rover has been cracked after an object was thrown at the vehicle in west Belfast.

The incident happened on the Glen Road shortly before 01:00 BST on Sunday.

Police say at this stage they do not know what the object was.

They carried out searches in the area as a precaution, but nothing was found. The Glen Road has now reopened.
