Peatlands Park, Dungannon: Woman raped while walking dog
A woman has been raped in a park in Dungannon, County Tyrone.
The woman was walking her dog on an isolated path in Peatlands Park at about 14:45 BST on Wednesday when she was assaulted.
The man who attacked her fled the scene on what has been described as a black mountain bike.
Police have described it as an "appalling attack" and have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.
A large-scale police operation, including helicopter cover, was put in place when the crime was reported, but the attacker has not been caught.
Police have described the attacker as about 6ft tall, aged in his 20s, clean shaven with chubby cheeks and droopy eyes.
The man was wearing dark clothing, a hi-vis jacket and a cycling helmet.
Peatlands Park is an area which is popular with families.
