East Belfast: Man's ear bitten during Albertbridge Road attack

Police have appealed for information about an assault on three people in east Belfast on Saturday night.

One of the victims, a 31-year-old man, suffered a rip to his earlobe when he was bitten.

The attack, by "a number of males", happened on the Albertbridge Road near its junction with Lord Street, at about 23:15 BST.

Another man, aged 30, also suffered substantial injuries, while a 28-year-old woman suffered minor arm wounds.

Police want anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them.
