Liverpool to Belfast flight: Man arrested after 'incident'

A man was arrested on suspicion of endangering the safety of an aircraft following an "incident" on board a Belfast-bound flight, police have said.

The 30-year-old was also questioned on suspicion of acting in a disorderly manner on the Flybe flight from Liverpool on Thursday.

He was detained at George Best Belfast City Airport on Thursday afternoon.

A police spokesman said the man has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
