North Belfast: Elderly man left shaken after burglary

PSNI

An elderly man has been left shaken after two men burgled his home in Ballycarry Street, north Belfast.

It happened at around midday on Thursday 28 July.

A PSNI spokesperson said the intruders forced the man, who is in his 70s, to stay in the kitchen whilst one of them went upstairs.

Both men left the house a short time later and made off in a small blue car in the direction of Ballynure Street.

The elderly resident, who was not physically injured, later discovered money was missing.
