Teenager found in east Belfast alleyway is 'critical'

A 17-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after he was found injured in an alleyway in east Belfast.

He was discovered between Castlereagh Parade and Glenvarlock Street, off the Castlereagh Road, at about 01:30 BST on Wednesday.

The boy was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Police have appealed for information about the incident.
