A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over a gang attack in a County Antrim bar in which the victim was beaten with hammers and bats.

Darren Moore, who is in his 40s, suffered multiple fractures and cuts to his face when he was attacked at the pub in Doagh last month.

The 19-year-old man was arrested in Ballyclare and has been taken to Antrim police station for questioning.

A number of men have already appeared in court, charged with the murder bid.
