Teenage boy critical after Glengormley car collision

A teenage boy is critically ill after he was hit by a car in Glengormley.

The boy was struck by a car as he was crossing the Ballyclare Road about 16:30 BST on Wednesday, police said.

The boy was treated at the scene by paramedics and was taken to Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital.

Police said the female driver of a silver car had been spoken to by police and was assisting officers with their enquiries.
