Two men have been arrested by police investigating graffiti about murdered police officer Ronan Kerr.

The men, aged 22 and 23, were detained following a search of a house in the city on Friday morning.

The slogans praising the murder of Constable Kerr were painted in the Bogside estate in April.

The graffiti was removed by members of the community and condemned by politicians.

Constable Kerr was killed by a bomb under his car outside his Omagh home on Saturday 2 April.

Police are still questioning three men about the murder.
