Gary Donnelly charges dropped 'without prejudice'
Public order charges against dissident republican Gary Donnelly have been withdrawn, a court heard on Monday.
The 40-year-old from Kildrum Gardens in Londonderry, denied assaulting police officers at William Street in the city in February.
A prosecution barrister told Londonderry Magistrates' Court that the charges were being withdrawn "without prejudice".
The barrister said the case might proceed by way of a police summons.
The court also heard that recordings of the alleged incident were still outstanding.
