Teenager falls to his death in Bundoran

A teenager has fallen to his death from a roof in Bundoran, County Donegal.

The 17-year-old, from Santry in Dublin, found he was locked out of his apartment when he returned early on Thursday after a night out with friends.

He was with a party of about 12 people from Dublin staying at the resort.

Irish police said that he climbed out an open third-floor window and climbed onto the roof to try to get into the apartment, but slipped and fell.
