2.6 million lotto win for Donegal woman
A Donegal woman has won over 2.6 million euro in the Irish Republic's weekend lottery draw.
Kathleen McLaughlin bought her winning ticket in Farren's Ice Cream Parlour in Moville.
The owner of the shop was alerted by the National Lottery just at about 22.00 GMT on Saturday.
Denis Foynes said he was "delighted" for Mrs McLaughlin who is from Redcastle.
"She's been a lotto customer since it started around twenty-five year ago," he said.
"It just goes to show persistence pays off!"
