Strabane man condemns petrol bomb attack
A Strabane man whose family home was targeted in a petrol bomb attack this week said a young boy sleeping in the house could been killed.
The device was thrown at the window of the farmhouse on Park Road just after midnight on Monday.
Neil Edward's brother and 12-year-old nephew were in the property at the time of the attack.
He said the incident has had a terrible impact on his family.
"It hit the PVC frame of the house, if it had hit the glass the place would have been burned down," he said.
Last year, arsonists set fire to a hay shed on the same farm destroying thousands of pounds worth of machinery.
Mr Edwards said his elderly father who grew up on the farm is now too scared to stay there at night.
"I just want to meet the cowards who have done this," he said.
"It takes brave men to do something like this in the middle of the night, so they should be brave enough to meet me."
