Olympic torch relay: two in court over public order offences
Two men have been charged with public order offences linked to disturbances when the Olympic torch relay passed through Londonderry.
Eamon Barry Millar, 27, of Rafferty Close, is accused of disorderly behaviour and assaulting a police sergeant.
He denies committing the offences at the Foyle embankment on 4 June.
Shaun Anthony Mcintyre, 38, of Rinmore Drive, is accused of two offences of disorderly behaviour. He denies both.
Both men were released on bail until 27 september.
Meanwhile a co defendant James Anthony Kelly, 51, of Rathkeele Way, who had appeared in court on a previous date also had his case adjourned until 27 September.
He denies one charge of disorderly behaviour and one charge of assaulting a police officer at the Foyle embankment.
