Londonderry murder trial is set for next month

A 32-year-old-man is due to appear at Londonderry Crown Court next month charged with murder.

James Anthony Healy, from Hollymount Park in the Waterside, is charged with murdering James Christopher MacGaughey on 30 October.

He is also charged with possessing a baseball bat and possessing herbal cannabis on the same date.

The defendant, who made no reply to the charges, was remanded in continuing custody until he appears on 6 December.
