Two men appear in court over Londonderry 'IRA meeting'

Two Londonderry men have appeared at Belfast Crown Court in connection with terrorism-related charges.

Ciaran Boyle, 29, of the Meadows, and Anthony Michael Lancaster, 52, from Circular Road in Creggan, are accused of arranging a meeting addressed by a member of a proscribed organisation, namely the IRA.

The men are charged with assisting in managing the meeting, which allegedly took place in Derry on 9 April 2012.

Both men deny the charge.

The men were released on continuing bail by the judge, and are expected to appear in court again on 13 January 2015.
