Three arrested in Derry and Hillsborough over £300,000 drugs finds

Almost a quarter of a million pounds worth of what is thought to be cannabis has been found in a car involved in a crash with a police vehicle.

Two men were arrested after the find in the car on Victoria Road, Londonderry, at 18:30 GMT on Monday.

The men, aged 28 and 30, were arrested for having a suspected class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

In a separate incident, £60,000 worth of suspected cannabis was found in a car at Hillsborough, County Down.

A 36-year-old man was arrested for having a suspected class B controlled drug and possession of a suspected class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
