St Patrick's Day: Derry woman pleads guilty to burning Irish tricolour
A woman has pleaded guilty at Londonderry Magistrates' Court to setting fire to an Irish tricolour flag on St Patrick's Day.
Denise Hynds, 43, from the Fountain area, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour and to setting fire to the flag with intent to provoke a breach of the peace.
She has 74 previous convictions.
She was released on her own bail of £750 until she is sentenced on 24 April.
As part of her bail conditions she was ordered to live at her home address, not to consume or possess alcohol and not to enter a licensed premises.
