Londonderry postman stole video games from mail

A former postman has pleaded guilty to two charges of stealing video games and two charges of interfering with mail.

James Hodgson, 35, of Seven Tree Road in the Waterside area of the city appeared at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

He committed the four offences on 6 November 2014, when he was employed as a postman.

The judge has ordered a pre-sentence report and Hodgson is to be sentenced on 12 June.
