'No shooting' at Londonderry house

Police have said there is "no evidence" to suggest shots were fired at a house in Londonderry.

It happened on Monday just after 23:00 GMT in Cornshell Fields.

A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Police have carried out a number of enquiries and there is no evidence to suggest that shots were fired."

It is understood that it may have been prompted by fireworks being set off in the area.
