Youths rescued from Lagan 'ledge'

Three teenage boys have been rescued by firefighters using a boat on the River Lagan in south Belfast.

The fire service was called just after 2000 BST and told that three youths were trapped on a ledge on the river.

A number of crews - including a specialist water rescue team - were immediately sent to the scene near Cooke Street, facing the Ormeau embankment.

None of the three rescued youths were injured.
