Police have seized approximately £840,000 worth of cannabis in Belfast.

Three men aged 26, 32 and 56 were arrested on Friday in relation to the find.

Police said £25,000 in cash was also recovered. The arrests and seizures were carried out in greater Belfast.

Detective Chief Inspector Shaun McKee said: "This successful operation has taken a large quantity of potentially dangerous drugs off the streets of Northern Ireland.

"The sad reality is that illegal drugs kill, they ruin lives and destroy communities.
