Cameron vows to clear Parliament Square peace camp

Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to clear the permanent peace camp from Parliament Square before the Royal wedding on 29 April.

Speaking at Prime Minister's Questions, Mr Cameron said he would "always defend the right to protest peacefully".

But he added: "I have never seen any reason why they have to sleep in Parliament Square."

And he vowed to take action shortly, saying 29 April was "too far a deadline to get this sorted out".
