Marxist writer Alan Woods on anti-capitalist protests


Marxist theories inspired Russia and the People's Republic of China and they still influence the way Venezuela and Cuba are run.

Marxist thinker Alan Woods - who influenced Venezuela's socialist president - claims the tide is turning back to the Marxist way of thinking.

He spoke to Susana Mendonca about whether it can provide lessons for the post-economic crash era where anti-capitalist protests are rife.
