David Cameron: 'Syria is not like Iraq'

A House of Commons debate on intervention in Syria is under way ahead of a vote on the the UK's response to a chemical attack near Damascus.

MPs will vote on the "principle" of launching military action against President Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Prime Minister David Cameron told MPs: "I am deeply mindful of the lessons of previous conflicts... but this is not like Iraq."
