Labour leader Ed Miliband details immigration policy

22 September 2013 Last updated at 19:59 BST

Labour leader Ed Miliband has said that if he wins the general election in 2015, Labour would introduce an Immigration bill to make larger employers take on an apprentice for every skilled foreign worker they employed from outside the European Union.

Mr Miliband said Labour would also do more to make employers pay the minimum wage to stop overseas workers undercutting British employees.

James Landale reports.
