2 March 2014 Last updated at 12:43 GMT

William Hague and John Kerry should be heading to Moscow and talking to President Putin, said a Conservative MP about the military build up in Ukraine.

Mark Field, who sits on the Intelligence and Security Committee. claimed President Obama "has virtually no interest in the Middle East or European affairs".

The MP said there was "very little appetite for any military action" in the West, but any action by Russia "could have a major impact on the global economy".
