The chief executives of London's two largest airports were given the chance to put the case why their site should be expanded.
Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn gave Gatwick's Stewart Wingate and Heathrow's John Holland-Kaye a minute each to say why they had the stronger case.
On Tuesday, both airports unveiled revised expansion plans to be submitted to the Airports Commission, which will decide how to expand UK air capacity.
