Woman killed in A9 crash named

A 52-year-old woman who died in a car crash on the A9 in Perthshire has been named by police.

Laura Drewyor, from North Carolina in the US, was killed after colliding with another car near Pitlochry at about 1640 BST on Sunday.

A 48-year-old passenger in Ms Drewyor's Ford Kia suffered minor injuries.

Three men in the second car, a Volkswagen Golf, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries and released after treatment.

Tayside Police said the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident were still being investigated.
