Men trapped by combine harvester

Two men have been rescued after becoming trapped under a combine harvester in the Borders.

The men, aged 37 and 44, were trying to load the harvester on to a lorry, which had a flat tyre, close to the Pyatshaw Picnic Area in Lauder at 18:00 BST.

As they tried to change the tyre, the harvester slipped and trapped them.

A 37-year-old man was taken to Borders General Hospital with spinal and abdominal injuries. The other man did not require treatment.
