Drugs worth £3m seized from Glasgow flat

Police have seized heroin and cocaine worth more than £3m in Glasgow.

Officers from the Strathclyde Police major crime and terrorism investigation unit grabbed the haul at 15:00 on Friday.

A total of 26kg of heroin and 11kg of cocaine were recovered in a flat on Craigbo Avenue, Maryhill.

A 50-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were arrested and taken into police custody, in connection with the seizure.

Officers also found several items of equipment normally used in the production and distribution of drugs.
