Grangemouth replica Spitfire project reaches milestone

Help

Work to create a full-sized replica Spitfire in Grangemouth in memory of World War II air crews has reached an important milestone.

The wings are being fitted to the fuselage by the Grangemouth Spitfire Memorial Trust.

The plane, which should be put in place in May, is intended to commemorate air crew who died learning to fly Spitfires in the area during World War II.

BBC Scotland's Huw Williams reports.
