View from Scotland's tallest free-standing structure

The chimney stack at Inverkip power station will be demolished at the end of July. The spectacle will be one of the most dramatic demolitions Scotland has seen.

The oil crisis of the 1970s meant the station was too expensive to operate, almost from the moment construction was completed.

BBC Scotland's environment correspondent David Miller took one last look around.
