A fog bow above Loch Earn. Karen was on her way to Ben Vorlich on Saturday morning. Small water droplets in fog restrict the range of colours refracted in light.
Alex and his cousin had a water balloon fight in Saltcoats. Mum Helen Whyte tried to avoid getting wet.
A picnic on Hirta. Alex Macleod, from Aberdeen, was among the group who chartered a boat to the archipelago of St Kilda to celebrate his brother-in-law Roddy's 50th birthday.

Moonlight over a campsite on the Isle of Tiree. Craig took the photo and girlfriend Sarah Milroy, from Stonehaven, said it had been a 'brilliant festival, super music and sunshine'.
