Fresh revelations over school abuse

15 August 2013 Last updated at 19:42 BST

Fresh revelations have emerged about the Australian monks who formed a paedophile ring and sexually abused boys over three decades at Fort Augustus Abbey school and its feeder school in East Lothian.

On Wednesday, a former head teacher of the Fort Augustus Abbey school resigned from his post at Oxford University over allegations he covered up abuse in the 1970s.

Kees Vogt said: "There was no point to report this to other priests because you would just be told you were a liar."
