First Gaelic drama in 20 years begins filming on Skye

The man who produced the hit comedy "The Inbetweeners" has begun filming the first Gaelic soap opera for 20 years.

Three half-hour pilot episodes of Bannan, translated as The Ties that Bind, will be shown on BBC Alba next year.

If the drama proves popular it could be given a much longer run.
