Family concern for welfare of Scot in Indian jail

21 November 2013 Last updated at 15:56 GMT

The family of an Argyll man being held in an Indian jail have said they are worried for his welfare.

Billy Irving had been working as a security guard on anti-piracy patrols for an American company when all 36 people on the boat MV Seaman Guard Ohio were arrested.

Police in India arrested the crew after accusing them of illegally entering Indian waters with unauthorised possession of guns and ammunition.

BBC Scotland's Aileen Clarke reports.
