Occupation: Retired driving instructor

Age: 68

Lives: Edinburgh

Voting Intention: Undecided

Ian Kinghorn lives in the Pilrig area of Edinburgh and is now retired from his job as a driving instructor, having worked as an electronics engineer before that.

He now spends his time doing DIY and wood-turning, as well as singing in a local barbershop group and volunteering with the local hospice.

He is currently undecided about how he will vote, wavering between 'Yes 'and 'No' and has not been impressed by the standard of debate so far.

"I'm probably a natural 'No' voter, but have been pretty disappointed in the 'No' campaign.

"I feel they haven't got much further than the slogan 'better together', and have failed to convince me why.

"On the other hand, I'm convinced that an independent Scotland would be perfectly viable, but not sure it's worth the upheaval and hassle of separation."
