Smoke from nearby fire leads to Edinburgh nursing home evacuation

Part of a nursing home in Edinburgh was evacuated on Monday night after smoke from a nearby fire entered the building.

All 35 residents of Trinity House Nursing Home were moved to another part of the building,

None are said to have required hospital treatment.

A pile of rubbish burning near the home, located on Spring Gardens, is thought to have been the cause of the smoke.
