Signal fault causes train delays across central Scotland
A signalling fault has caused severe delays to commuter train services across central Scotland.
ScotRail said the fault with the signalling had affected the system between Springburn and Ashfield.
The problem hit routes serving Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and several other stations - with cancellations and delays of more than an hour.
It comes at a time when tunnel works at Glasgow Queen Street is already affecting services through Glasgow.
