The tragic car crash that saw two young children die after the car they were in plunged into a loch dominates today's front pages.

The Daily Record leads with a photograph of sister and brother Leia McCorrisken, three, and Seth McCorrisken, two with their mother, reporting how passers-by struggled to save the children after their car sank into Loch nan Druimnean near Kilmelford, Argyll.

The Sun also leads with the story of the loch car crash.

Elsewhere, The Herald reports that UK troops are to be sent to the Russian border.

The Daily Mail say Britain is now on track for a female prime minister, with the Conservative leadership race a head-to-head battle between Andrea Leadsom and Theresa May.

The National features photograph of Mrs May and the headline "It's time to get us out of here".

And the Scotsman says it's "Goodbye to Gove" as he is eliminated from the Conservative Party leadership contest with 46 votes to the 199 won by May and 84 gained by Leadsom.
